What lies do you tell your friends
When they ask why you're away?
When they ask about your family
What lies do you say?

What lies do you tell your patients
When they seek you for advice?
Do you lie that you are caring?
Do you lies for them suffice?

When lies do you tell your God
When you kneel in church to pray?
Do you lie about your actions
And how you spent your day?

What lies will you tell yourself
When you find you're all alone
When you search for those lost children
And find that they’re all gone?
